> 3 dayGood picture quality, but the ports are in such a tight space its really hard to get the plugs into the monitor. The stand is in no way wide enough to support the monitor either, Ive had it nearly or completely tip over too many times already.

> 3 dayI was looking for an IPS, 144hz, 1080p, 24 monitor for a long time, and this was the perfect choice! IPS looks insanely better than TN, but I could never find a high refresh IPS monitor for a mid range PC like my own. The only high refresh IPS monitors I could find were all 27 at 1440p, which my PC couldnt push enough frames for, or 1080p, which looks awful at 27 in my opinion. So this monitor was the perfect option. (Btw, Id stay away from the VG259Q. I tried that one first, and the colors on it were really messed up, and I saw a few other who had that problem as well. The only major difference is it being about an inch bigger, and being a bit more expensive.) The picture quality is really good too! The settings I landed on are: - Racing Mode - Brightness: 100 - Contrast: 80 - Color Temp: User Mode: R:90 G:95 B:100 - Trace Free: 100 Trace free threw me off a little bit, but thats just Asus way of saying overdrive. I suggest cranking it up to 100. At 100, I see no artifacts, and it makes the response time of the monitor feel way snappier. Given everything I said so far, I would have easily given this monitor 5 stars, but there are 2 major problems I have with it. 1. For some reason, Asus didnt include their amazing joystick controls for the OSD, and instead opted for ancient feeling row of buttons. My previous Asus monitor had the joystick, and navigating the OSD was sooo much nicer. 2. There is no aux output on the monitor, and the built in speakers dont sound that great either. Oddly enough, they did include an aux input, just in case you wanted to plug your iPod into the monitor and jam out... When using my computer, I can obviously use its aux output and run it to my speakers, but I like to play console games on the monitor sometimes too, and when doing so, I have no easy way to route the audio through to my speakers. To fix this, I bought this HDMI adapter that pulls an aux signal out, and I use that to plug into my speakers. Overall the monitor is amazing, and those couple problems arent the end of the world. Id still highly recommend it.

> 3 dayAfter 1.5 years, the monitor is already breaking down. Have huge expectations, but if your products cant last more than 2 years especially with this price rage is a pretty big red flag. I have bought a lot of monitors and all of them are still alive to this day. Another big disappointment. What else is new. Just go next. Dont bother spending your hard earn cash here.

> 3 dayPROS: -- No dead pixels on mine (this is the one thing I am wary about when it comes to ordering a monitor online) -- Perfect size for 1080p (high pixel density at this size) -- Brightness and contrast look great -- Lots of different settings in the menu -- Build quality seems solid CONS: -- Speakers sound ok, but not amazing; I personally use headphones so it doesnt matter to me -- Power button should ideally be right below the LED indicator, not half an inch to the left of it -- It looks like the border is only about 1/16 inch thick, but the usable part of the LED panel actually ends about 1/8 inch from the plastic frame, so if you are planning on running 2 of these side by side, be aware of that. You will have about 1/4 inch black border (including the frame part) on each side of the monitor. A minor point, but one that should be mentioned. As you can see, there really isnt much to complain about with this monitor. I set mine for 120 Hz (My current GPU cant run games at 144 frames per second anyway). Setup was easy. For a couple games I had to delete content of the games Settings folder in order to get the game to work with this monitor (namely Doom 2016 and RDR2) because those games stored settings from my previous monitor. Its hard to find a 1080P IPS that is this fast and has all these features in a small size. Most IPS 1080P monitors are 27 now, which is too large in my opinion. This is the perfect size for 1080P.

> 3 dayI actually own 3 of these...two that work, one that is broken that I sent back for warranty service. The monitor was mounted on my stand when I purchased it and had not been moved from there until I turned it on and the display was scrambled. I sent it to ASUS (RMA USDAN50820) and, in about 4 days got an email from them saying it had been received. A few days after that I received an email stating that they had discovered scratches on the bezel indicating user damage. The repair estimate totaled $300. I ordered another one (for $269) and asked that the original be returned to me. It is in transit and I will update this with photos when it arrives. They did send photos of the damage which are in a pdf format and I cant upload them here. The photos are extremely blurry and show nothing helpful. I am not a gamer, in fact I am a Nurse and do most of my charting from home. I work only on call and need a comfortable to look at monitor to use on my dual display. I often have to have multiple programs open at one time and use the dual display to make this more efficient. I will not purchase anything more from this company until they make good on their promise. Would I recommend these to anyone else? Not anyone I liked. This is not the end...just the end for now. I will have no problems steering anyone away from Asus.

> 3 dayA-lot of people tend to push this monitor aside for other monitor forms and as such this doesnt gain much attention. However, this monitor has been great over the half year and I dont intend on changing it anytime soon. The quality is great, the brightness is amazing, and its amazing for gaming with its 144 hertz.
