This laptop is great value, and for about 30 bucks or less you can find an extra 8gb stick of ram on amazon to put into the laptop. This would give you 16gb of dual channel ram. The other great feature is this laptop has space for an extra ssd. Some versions (mine did not) have a extra m.2 slot as well as the ssd drive space! This amount of upgradability is wonderful.

Hard drive went out 1 year after purchase & is not in production so it’s now not fixable & worthless

Screen quality is good for the most part. One thing I noticed that I havent seen on other devices is sometimes YouTube will not work properly and most of the screen will end up being blocked as one solid colour if you switch from a different tab into it. This can be remedied by Alt-Tabbing around again but still strange that that happens. The battery is also a bit weaker than what Ive seen on some HP but that was expected due to the stronger computer needing more energy. Plugged in it wont be a problem though. Games run well on this device. the F keys are bound unusually too allow the games usage to be first priority. If something uses the F1 key you dont need to worry about muting yourself by accident. You will need to hold the FN key to actually use the F keys for their labelled purpose. Overall this device is good, flawed in some aspects but a good laptop, one that is significantly better than any office laptop

Lo compre en 18000, y la verdad es que es una herramienta perfecta para estudio, edicion ligera y gaming casual, la construccion no es la mejor, y al verdad que si se esperaba que el RGB fuese por tecla, pero fuera de eso por el precio es lo mejor que te puedes encontrar

El equipo debes configurarlo muy bien para obtener el máximo rendimiento, me gusto su potencia y velocidad para realizar cualquier tarea. Pero desde que la tengo he tenido muchos problemas con la cámara integrada, he restaurado, el soporte me sugirió reinstalar el sistema operativo, el problema persistía y me surgieron actualizar la bios (un proceso que debes hacer muy bien porque puedes dañar la pc) y tampoco funcionó. Llame a soporte asus México y la garantía no cubre aquí. De verdad lo intente porque me gusto pero la compre precisamente para hacer streaming y lamentablemente hoy pido mi reembolso por (equipo defectuoso no funciona bien).

The product material is not clear. I thought it include total two m.2 slots plus one SATA slot for SSD/HDD. The model of FA506IH-AS53 (1650 display) include one m.2 and one SATA only. (Attached is how it looks inside). It is still good for the price and I am happy with the product so far.
