09-11-2024I’ve been using the laptop since March and I can happily report that I have never had an issue with it. It was meant to be used as a desktop laptop since it is pretty heavy to travel with. Not that you couldn’t travel with it, but it would be too heavy for me to lug around. The laptop is on for over 8 hours a day and I never had an issue with it. It is the perfect laptop for work and play. The hubby does all the gaming on it and has absolutely no complaints. The display quality is amazing and I love the RGB lighting while I work at 5am. The happy colors are appreciated. I keep it elevated on a laptop stand with holes to let it breath so it doesn’t overheat and last me a VERY LONG time! I would have loved more USB ports, but that’s ok. It’s a beast for playing games so if youre a gamer you’re going to love it! I’m not going to get geeky and relist everything it has as you can see it for yourself in the description. Don’t waste your money on brand name laptops, this beast can run with the big boys!

> 3 dayGot this machine as a replacement for my daily work driver and its solid. The easy upgradability makes it so easy to add extra storage, or swap out the RAM. Took me under 10 minutes to do both!

> 3 dayIts a great laptop almost a desktop replacement, however there is one big flaw. Whenever I am playing a game the track pad just stops working. What Ive read online this is a windows 11 issue though none of the troubleshooting things Ive done help. An otherwise great product ruined by a crap operating system. Update dropped this to one star cause I literally cannot use this thanks to the most recent windows update. Without the option to let me use windows 10 which was stable and functional I have to use this windows 11 garbage now im endlessly stuck in a blue screen of death loop. Do not buy any product that comes with windows 11 the experience is more like a virus.

> 3 dayThis is a $2,000 gaming laptop. And you cant leave it on when youre not using it or it will overheat. Im not even playing super high graphics games. POE is like 13 years old and it still overheats and makes my game lag miserably unless I turn the power off and give it like an hour to cool down. Completely embarrassing for a company that is supposed to be all about great gaming products. Rip off.

> 3 dayIt’s an alright laptop, I was able to do use it for school. But all of a sudden the screen decided to stop working and everytime I turn it on, the keyboard just lights up and turns right back off again. It seems like other people had a similar problem so it’s not just me. Please find a way to fix this or help in any way.

> 3 dayowned one of the prior year laptop strix scar, basically the same look and hardware base minus the updated graphics card, processor, and screen. The only flaw i noticed with these laptops is that the charging cable starts to become unfunctional after a year or so and replacements barely last a year due to minor movements with the laptop, sometimes im away at my desk and like to use it that way while its charing which contributes to the wear and tear of the cable which i barelly tug on it or at all.
