Best 550 board for the the money. My first ROG STRIX purchase. Look for a sale that drops it to $150... Durable and versatile to both a budget or high end builds

I got this instead of the 570 board entirely because I heard the 570 has an integrated cooler that cannot be turned off, and I wanted a completely silent experience while browsing or doing office work. This thing seems to work well, and handles my 5800x overclocked to 4.9ghz with no problems. The overclocking was a little weird to set up (make sure to check the advanced section and look for pbo core curve control or something similar).

This is my first motherboard and I liked it a ton but one think is I wasn’t able to enable my D.O.C.P! When I did this my pc would crash… so I then upgraded to an x570 and it works perfectly fine! Still ROG’s mobo’s do not disappoint!

Buena tarjeta madre, cumple las expectativas, fácil de actualizar bios, no me ha gustado que tenga solo una salida rgb de 5v y no la recomiendo para montar un aoi msi core liquid, ya que la placa tiene el aoi pump en el centro y en el msi core liquid la bomba esta en el radiador, así que tuve que cruzar el cable.

The board is pretty good in quality and value, supports my 3900xt and 3080 well. Minus a star because it doesn’t have a front panel usb 3.1 gen2 plug. So I can’t use my front panel type c

Do not buy the motherboard without WiFi. It is the BIGGEST hemorrhoid in butt! It can’t register any pcie WiFi cards. U will spend 36$ more for some card that wont work.

Bought 2 of this board both DOA...tried everything even took a working 1200 watt power supply and still the boards dont work, Tried 3000 & 5000 amd cpu.. and tried different ram ,took out cmos battery abd reset the cmos... called asus they said to try in update the bios .. It fails after 4 sec.. the motherboard has leds on it to tell you if something is wrong ... non of the lights work... I took out the cpu and then the ram .. still none light up...I looked and other people had the same issues... Asus said I can send them the motherboard for them to try and fix... I should not have to send out a new board for repair.. the also said to send it back to the retailer thats what I am doing
