> 3 daythe build quality looks good and just the physical appearance and layout looks appealing. PC build was very easy. everything just worked with very little effort at first. the bios is not as helpful or user friendly (and just doesnt look as good) the one on my old 2015 MSI board. doesnt have the latest gen usb motherboard connector for the nzxt 510 case. the rgb stuff is now(did work for a few months) impossible to control with the armoury crate junk app. PC runs great with linux, windows 10. one issue is intermittent detection of pcie wifi cards....tried an intel wifi6 card and a 9620 with a m2-pcie adapter.....if the computer hasnt been run for a few hours it will fail to detect in both operating systems. if i reboot it resolves it. no, setting the slots to gen1 or gen 2 etc. doesnt help. a workaround found by accident in the bios....change the pcie setting on the lower large 4x slot from auto to 1x and it now detects every time....there is nothing in the documentation at all about this. probably should have gone with the wifi version, minimal added cost would have been worth it. theres no trouble at all with linux dualboot kubuntu etc. it does have the security chip needed for win11 compatibility, it is turned off by default and have to go into the buried menus to locate it, but it is there. update 12/22/21 the pc upgraded to windows 11 and experienced lots of instability with random BSOD probably caused by driver issues. the cause very difficult to track down. since I dont have time to reformat and start over, reverted back to 10. the other issue is not hardware but software, specifically Armoury Crate, which apparently is needed to control RGB now, became very problematic recently (I did not do anything other than the automatic update stuff for windows) with service errors and inability to uninstall/reinstall(using Asus uninstall tool which failed every time) and for which no easy solutions on the net seem to exist yet, other than reset/reformat/starting over (and some report that even that doesnt work), at least on my system. It subjectively seems to slow it down as well and wont detect even the rgb built into the motherboard. Asus customer support was great, but he was unable to solve and was sending to a higher level. we will see if they come up with a reasonable solution. I dont think I can recommend this board right now except maybe as a non-rgb build.

> 3 dayArrived it perfect condition and functioned as advertised. This was the replacement I ordered (originally ordered a MSI B550-F and Ryzen 5700x and the mobo was DOA) and overall I am very happy with this purchase as I didnt have to RMA it and it worked right out of the box without needing a BIOS update. The ARGB is just icing on the cake.

> 3 dayLike the title says I couldnt use FW Version 1805. This caused a lot of confusion for a while until I thought to use the 2nd newest non-beta FW Version 1202. Once applied the system booted right up. I used the FW Flashback method and it worked great. Keep this in mind should you have problems like I did.

Greater than one weekFaulty I225v Adapter. Cons: I read the negatives about the LAN issues and figured meh, my prior version had no issues. Put a 5600x and GSkill ram in, fired her up and no internet connection. Troubleshooting said no Connection. Installed all the latest bios, lan, etc. Still cannot get it to work. Its not possible the Ethernet connection is bad, I was using it prior to the new MB and had no issues. After four hours of troubleshooting, I am considering returning the board or installing a TP-Link 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express Network Card. Really bummed as I like Asus MBs. ASUS shippped at least two initial runs of this board with faulty LAN issues. Not sure if they corrected this issue currently.

> 3 dayThe board is pretty good in quality and value, supports my 3900xt and 3080 well. Minus a star because it doesn’t have a front panel usb 3.1 gen2 plug. So I can’t use my front panel type c
