Astra Superior Platinum Double Edge Shaving Razor Blades 100 Pcs Barber Favored by Astra

Stainless steel means they last (I use a blade for at least a month so this $10 box of Astra blades will last me over eight years ... really inexpensive) and the platinum coating makes it comfortable (greatly minimizing razor burn). The Astra blades are perfect for me.

Received this product before delivery date. I have used this product and very satisfied with the results.

I bought this 100 pack in early 2020 & again in 2021. Quality is consistent, & the blades have the embossed logo & are not blank, as with some other listings. I use a shavette on my own face, as well as for barbering others. I also use a Zazor DE razor (not unlike a Razorine, but cheaper & better.) For years I used Wilkinson Sword razors bc they were ubiquitous & got the job done well. Astra Superior Platinum are just a bit less smooth & a bit sharper in comparison. I have thick, curly 3C hair, & this slices right through. Its also a breeze for use on others. Not quite as sharp or unforgiving as Feather blades & thats why theyre my favorite. My one little quibble is the waxy sealant on the envelope. I really wish it didnt have that as it builds up on my razors, but a little warm soapy water takes care of it well enough.

I ordered a sampler pack to try different blades and brands and this one was by far the best for me therefore came Back to order a big pack to use as my primary blades. I give haircuts to my kids nephews and friends kids. In total I have about 8-9 kids I consistently give haircuts too at home and these provide a clean cut with little nicks

For whatever reason these funk up my razor head like crazy. Only getting 1-2 shave per blade.

Recently made the change to single blade and love it. These are definitely a good blade to start out with, have only cut myself a few times. Not too sharp to scare off new shavers, but not too dull to give a bad shave. Would recommend.

Good enough

I forgot that I had shaved, I ran my hand across my face and it slipped, poked myself in the eye. Damn good product, I switched to safety razors about 8 years ago and this was a great choice for replacement blades. And damn theres a lot of them, I guess Ill be back in 10 years for another review

Like trying to build a better mouse trap, many have tried to reinvent the razor for shaving but the old double-edge safety razor blade and reusable shaver is still relatively unchanged and still very effective and economical after 120 years since it was invented. Not many things stand up to the test of time and innovation and remain as well appreciated as the simple double-edge safety razor blade. Astra, made by the inventor Gillette, has the distinction of being a tried and proven product for generations.
