Astra Superior Platinum Double Edge Shaving Razor Blades 100 Pcs Barber Favored by Astra

I bought the Van Der Hagen 5 pack of blades for 2 years for approximately $3. No one told me you could buy another brand that worked better for less. Im dumb sometimes.

I deducted one star, given there is no storage box to put used blades in. These blades come in individual boxes with no storage for the spent blade like you get with Feather blades. They shave good, but without a place to put the old blades I am afraid its a deal breaker. I would like to also mention that these blades are numbered. Which indicates one of two things. Either they are old stock or knock off blades. But none the less they give a good shave.

Love these and they are smooth and easy. These blades are not the sharpest. These razors succeed in comfort. Highly recommended them as you get a whole pack of 100 and you receive great quality.

Good value and will last me a long time.

I use these for scoring bread. Use several per week. Super sharp and I like the large pack size.

I used Parker and two others. A guy on a shaving channel had his gf install a bunch of blade brands including feather and he and put tape on the handle with numbers and at the end he guessed every one wrong. Ive even though a blade got dull fast and opened the shaver to see it was a different brand than I thought because I forgot which blade I loaded. Can last a month or more with shaving every other day.

These blades seemed really thin to me but proved me wrong in any denial by its appearance. These per blade I can get three to four shaves and they are awesome not to sharp but are at the perfect zone for me to get a really good clean shave.

Very sharp! Depending on your razor they can be a bit harsh. I have the Merkur classic handle and these are on the edge of too intense. I like it that way though. Good smooth shave, at least six shaves per blade in my experience.

I have very thick, coarse hair but also sensitive skin. Ive tried feather but those are too aggressive and also a handful of others that wouldnt cut my hair as well. These hit the sweet spot for me. Still very sharp but still good for my skin and not overly priced either. These are my go-to blade for the foreseeable future.
