> 3 dayNot bad thermal paste right now Im currently using the stock cooler for my AMD FX 8300 overclock to 4.4 gigahertz when I had the reapply thermal paste on the stock cooler I was only be able to push my CPU to 4.3 gigahertz and sometimes I would have to lower the clock to 4.2 gigahertz but my CPU got pretty cool when Im not using it and temperatures one down about 4C and on load about 3C not bad my room has gotten a lot cooler though because I live in a hot temperature stayed some happy with this purchase

> 3 dayThis package arrived on time and was packaged well. I used the compound on a newly purchased aftermarket vga cooler and it delivered the coolness to the vga chip as promised.

> 3 dayBeen using AS5 for all my computer builds. Extremely reliable and trustworthy thermal displacement capability. Just use a tiny dollop and spread it thin with a credit card. Your CPU is ready to go for extreme loads!

Greater than one weekSimply awesome. Make sure to have *isopropyl alcohol* and a lint free towel. I used paper towels to remove the old paste, and it made a mess. Used compressed air to clean up any fibers, but I recommend something other than toilet paper or paper towels going forward.

> 3 dayArctic Silver 5 use to be the go to top thermal paste hands down. Then a bunch of other products claiming better thermal conductivity came out. I heard about these other products and read lots of reviews saying that they worked better. But when I tried them I got poor results. After doing some research I found out why. Those other products might have better conductivity, but they were thicker, so they dont spread out into the tiny cracks and crevices as well, and actually act as a barrier between the heat sink and the integrated heat spreader. Arctic Silver lays thinner than any other thermal paste. The reason why the other products didnt work for me was I always use heat sinks with a mirror finish. If I was to use a cheap heat sink with a rough finish the other products would probably work better. But since I only use high quality parts Arctic silver is the only CPU thermal paste for me. GPU, North Bridge, etc use something non conductive. The only other CPU thermal paste I would ever consider is the Diamond based ones, and the only reason I dont use those is Im worried it will scratch the mirror finish of my heat sinks, and make them harder to reuse.

> 3 dayIve tried many thermal compounds. None seem to be as reliable and good quality over time. Ive tried ones many times more expensive and some even cheaper. Arctic just seems to know what theyre doing.

> 3 dayIf u need good conductivity than this paste is for u dont need that much and it does what it needs kinda wish it was in a smaller shipping box cuse that was a waisted of cardboard but it does what it needs to

> 3 dayThis compound works as it should but the price I was charged for this tiny tube is an absolute outrage!!! If I had not been in a rush to get it I would have gotten it somewhere else! Based on the price I paid the cost per gallon would be in the thousands of dollars!!! Screwed again by an American retailer!!!
