Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

Enough for two applications as far as i can tell. maybe even three, i put it on thick since the rest will never get used.

My cpu fan was running 24/7 regardless of what I was doing on my PC. Put this stuff on and now it only runs with 1+ hour gaming.

I remember using Arctic Silver when I built my first PC many, many years ago and with my latest build I stuck with what I know works. Theres no reason to try other brands, Arctic Silver is well proven. Easy to install, easy to clean, keeps CPU temps down. Performance-wise its a 5-star product, however I only gave it 4 stars overall because I would have liked more paste per tube for the price.

I love this thermal paste. It comes highly recommended from most everyone in the computer building world and after over a decade of use I have found it to be reliable and affordable. You only need a very small amount (about the size of a grain of rice) so theres always more than enough in case you need more or need to re-apply it. It takes a little while to completely set it, but I noticed improved temperatures (and thus a quieter computer due to slower rotating fans) right away. Highly recommended!

Works as expected

The product was delivered quickly and was exactly as amazon described it. Seems to do the trick just fine for my Q6700. I will buy more of the same brand when i have used all of this one. Just use a rice sized dot in the center of the CPU and place your heat sink on top (no spreading necessary)

Ive been using this stuff on CPUs for over 10 years. Yeah, it cools a little better than most stock compounds, but the real benefit is when you have to remove the CPU HSF. This stuff comes off *way* easier than the bubble gum most manufacturers use.
