Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

After all these years, this is still my go-to for thermal paste. Keeps CPU temperatures nice and cool and easy to apply. High viscosity means it doesnt run everywhere even when things start to heat up.

My cpu isnt frying, so I guess its working.... I havent noticed a significant drop in cpu temps like so many other people claim to have with this product. I have used this on at least 5 processors too. Ive tried different methods of applying this stuff and re-seating the HSF, but I never can get results that many other people claim to get.

Anyone who builds computers knows that Arctic Silver is the way to go! This is the only thermal gel anyone would ever need if they knew anything about computers.

It works great Im sure, but this is the smallest syringe I have ever seen in my life. I thought it was a joke when it showed up. It looks like a sample. Its hard to compare based on the picture.

Very pleased with this product. Was half the price of Radio Shack. This is enough for any small to medium size project. Will cover approximately 10-12 sq inches or so of surface. I used this repair the YLOD issue with a PS3. So far so good.

I build and repair a lot of computers, so this is a necessary item. ArticSilver is the best stuff, so the key is to find it at the lowest price. This seller was the best I found,

My laptop fan was continuously running so I bought this, cleaned off the old residue and applied a small dot to the center of my cpu and now the fan actually turns off.

The thermal paste appears to make good thermal contact between a new heat pipe and the lap top cpu. The material was delivered on time and packaged appropriately.

Goes on very smoothly and covers easily. Ive used an Antec product recently twice on other builds. It was extremely lumpy and I threw it away. AS5 is highly rated for its cooling. It is what I will used from here forward.
