Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

I put in on my fx 8350 (liquid cooler Corsair h100i) . Was great. Did what it was supposed to do. I will probably loose this one too because its small and buy another when I upgrade my CPU with Zen.

Keeps temps real good when gaming for couple of hours. Max I’ve seen is 57 Celsius

Cheap and effective, definitely an upgrade from OEM thermal compound that comes on aftermarket heat sinks. Make sure you use the specified application pattern for your CPU.

I purchased this to use when I installed a new control board on my treadmill as Ive been having trouble with these boards burning out. First, I have to say that it is a very small amount. I used it all up and it did not seem like too much for the size of the board. Secondly, this new board burned out in 15 minutes. I dont blame that on this compound. I think there was a problem with the running belt and deck that created too much friction so Ill be replacing them. However, it apparently didnt help either. Ill be replacing everything in a couple of weeks and Ive gotten a larger quantity of this stuff. Ill let you know if I fare any better with that.

I bought this because my laptop kept overheating even after dusting out my fan and heat sink, and Arctic Silver sounded like the best of the best. I havent had any problems since putting this in my computer. Id absolutely recommend spending the extra dollar on this.
