> 3 dayWorks as advertised. Arctic Silver 5 is the best thermal paste on the market and it was the cheapest here. My unlocked AMD X4 B50 idles at 31-32C on AMDs Cool N Quiet with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 plus CPU fan and Antec 300 case with 3 case fans. Under normal load like extended gaming the CPU peaks around 42 degrees C.

> 3 dayWorks as described. If you do any research on how youre supposed to apply it, youll see that a lot of people do it a lot of different ways. I always choose the pea method, which is a drop the size of a pea in the center of the CPU. The line method is also popular, but WHATEVER YOU DO, PLEASE DONT GLOB IT ON THERE OR SPREAD IT WITH A CREDIT CARD!!!!! Also, be sure to clean the old paste off the CPU and heat sink with something like denatured alcohol and a LINT-FREE cloth. Arctic Silver actually sells a kit to do this. Theres also no way youre going to use even half of this stuff so if you want to keep it around, keep it in the fridge.

> 3 dayCant beat the classic. I used Arctic Silver as a teen building rigs in the 90s, and I still use it today. I hover around 33C in game with a z170 mobo, I5-6600k cpu, and a geforce gtx 970 vid card. Forget the goop they send along with your CPU cooler... get the REAL DEAL! Isnt your 1000$ rig worth spending another 8$ on to ensure it runs super cool?? Theres a reason this stuff still exists 25 years later.

> 3 dayThis is the only thermal paste that I use, it works very well, and has never let me down. I have built a few hundred systems, applied this to every one of the CPUs, and a few GPUs, and it has always worked very well. This is an essential part of a computer, and something that you should never compromise on. Unless they stop making this stuff, its what I will always use; if its not broke, dont fix it!

Greater than one weekOk first off this product worked wonders, it got my PS3 to run at its first fan setting rather than the 5th as soon as I applied it. The only reasons I didnt give it 5 stars were minor: 1) the tube I received was a little broken (not a big deal as it was just the plunger) 2) the price was a little high compared to some other places I have seen (But I still usually trust Amazon, especially over ebay, and the order was worth the couple extra dollars so I could save on not having to pay shipping on another item) and 3) the product doesnt come in a small enough size to just do one job, so its just going to be collecting dust, unless another problem comes up, which to me seems a little wasteful.
