Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

I recently had a stretch of bad luck with a CPU I had built. The system was a dream right up until the heavy video card sagged the PCI slot bracket right out of the board and caused catastrophic damage to the CPU and motherboard. I attempted to replace the mother board via RMA with the vendor but received boards that were Dead on Arrival for other reasons.

This is some the best compound you can get. I once tried the cheap goop that comes already applied to the standard cooling unit and soon regretted it with an overheating CPU. Ive used this stuff ever since. If your fan/cooling unit has the pad of white goop on it, be sure to scrape it off and remove any residue with alcohol first, then use about a rice size bead of this stuff.

This is the best compound invented. You dont need much for CPUs this stuff sticks like cement. Id recommend this for everybody.
