Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

Always Does its job.

This is exactly what is advertised. It seemed to work as expected however I cannot see it once I installed it. Shipped on time.

I have used AS compound for years. This product is great in a handy syringe. Easy to apply, easy to not get on your hands, and works with any aftermarket HSF.

Ive never used the stock paste, nor any other, so I cant say for sure if it performs better or not. I like the syringe and its ease of use and small application quantity. Worth the few bucks if you believe the benchmarks posted by the experts.

The paste didnt spread out like normal paste. After 1 week of running I removed it and it was a rock. and parts of the cpu wasnt even covered. I do a S pattern and a square around the outside area. and it didnt smush it around. My other paste works way better. Temps are around 32c idle i7-780.

This is kind of a boring product, you smear it on your components, smoosh them together, and rarely see it again, nothing happens. The syringe dispenser looks like it could carry an element of danger, but ultimately the worst it can do is leave grey glop on your fingertips. I guess that exciting thermal goop would be something that failed and made components explode in a shower of sparks and iridescent fumes, but after the novelty wore off it would get expensive and tedious to replace parts. Ive never been able achieve this effect when using Arctic Silver, but it does a good job of keeping my machines cooled so Ill begrudgingly forgive the mundanity.

Really dont know about the product cause I lost it after it was delivered to my house.
