Considering the fact that this case offers minimal protection, is non-adjustable, and the keyboard just feels cheep, youre basically paying an extra $100 because its an Apple product.

This is official Apple product, so it works well when attached well. The keyboard feel is fine, and no worries about power because power comes from the iPad itself when attached properly. When folded up properly, it is snug, providing protection for the screen and a reasonable carrying profile. However, it is floppy and often confusing to wrap and unwrap -- the alternative (non-Apple) book-like keyboard is much easier and intuitive and quick to use, though it is a bit thicker, heavier, and its power/battery is separate.
