I thought about this purchase for a while due to the price tag. I actually ordered directly from Apple. At first I thought it was great due to how easy it was to type. In less than 1 year the “e” key started sticking, eventually leading to a lot of frustration as the “e” key is a major key. I contacted apple and was told they could fix it but it would be several hundred dollars???? To make a long story short, I ended up ordering a Logitech which I have used in the past and trashed the magic keyboard. Don’t get sucked into this product.

Couldn’t be happier. Works exactly how it should. Fluid, responsive, easy to operate. This is the only keyboard I’ve used for any of my tablets but this sets the bar extremely high.

I was expecting all the functionality of the cheaper Smart Folio but with the added benefit of nicer keys, backlighting, stronger magnets, trackpad, charging, and floating design. And it does have all of those things.

I have been excited about this keyboard since it was launched and finally got one yesterday. It’s a nice keyboard and trackpad. The keys are nice, the trackpad works great, and it’s nice to have a backlit keyboard for the iPad.

Rather than travel with my Apple MacBook Air, I have the flexibility to now use the Apple Magic Keyboard with my Ipad Air (4th Generation). The keyboard is so easy to use. The backlit keys make it so easy to type in poorly lit environments. You can adjust how you want to view your screen with the cantilever design. I love the trackpad. Its very comparable to using my laptop.

Must have for iPad users requiring a keyboard. Wish it had function buttons but not a deal breaker. Quite heavy.

Love: The size matches the 11” iPad Pro perfectly, key stroke is indistinguishable from MacBook Pro experience, back lit keys powered by the iPad (no batteries required), response of multi-touch gestures on track pad, satisfying click sound from keys and trackpad, Overall rigidity (absolutely zero give in the build), firm hold of the magnets to the iPad Pro, tightness of the hinge points.
