> 3 dayTypical Apple quality at a high price, but in my opinion well worth it as it made the entire use experience something in between a laptop and a tablet. If typing is your thing, this is the perfect choice. Love the additional touchpad gestures, as well as the backlight. It powers from the iPad battery, so no need to charge separately. Note that it adds quite a bit of weight/bulk to the device. Wish it had a row of function keys (even the Esc key is missing), but this can sort-of be worked around depending on the apps youre using or remapping existing keys.

> 3 dayI dont use it much. Im not a typist. It was more of a nice to have want than a need for me. I suppose it does give you that laptop feel though with lockdown I dont need that portability right now.

> 3 dayOnly works when ipad does not have a case on. I bought a clear case for my ipad and this magic keyboard separately. I tried to stick my ipad covered with the clear case onto the magic keyboard in which it did, but I was not able to use the magic keyboard to type something. I am a student, so I would mostly be taking notes using the Apple Pencil, and I figured I am going to detach my ipad from the magic keyboard several times.

> 3 dayPurchased this product when it was on sale for $100 less than retail thinking it would be a refurb or something of the like but I am happy to report that it was the real deal/new. Perfect for my 11 inch iPad Pro. Personally when spending $1000 on a piece of tech I don’t like to buy the third party accessories and this keyboard is everything Apple promises. Now the market for compatible cases needs to expand. Also suggest turning off/down the backlight for keyboard to help prolong iPad battery life.
