I have used Mac for years.

I am writing this review based off of my usage of this laptop, and also wanted to wait a few months of using it before I reviewed. This laptop is amazing and Im still thrilled with the purchase. It remains extremely fast, extremely easy to use, and the battery life has held up very well. I use this computer at work (Im a firefighter in a large city) for my online Masters program coursework, and also use for personal projects and just general usage. It supplements my 2012 iMac quite well and I find myself using this laptop more and more often over the iMac. I don think I have had a single issue with this computer. Very easy setup, the Touch Bar/menu bar is pretty neat with autocomplete and suggestions. I also love the TouchID for passwords and signing in. There is good space and if you have an iCloud and a lot of documents or multimedia you will have no issues with space on this computer. I couldnt be happier and likely next time will buy a larger screen laptop to replace my iMac when it becomes obsolete. Speakers are loud. Only negative is that I cant stand that OFFICE 365 is not part of this package. I dont know anybody that likes using the Apple alternatives like numbers for work. Overall though this is an amazing buy.

Scratches all over this new laptop. I was already weary purchasing such an expensive device through Amazon, and when this arrived it confirmed my fears. I submitted for return. Ill be getting my MacBook through Best Buy instead, I suggest you do the same.

Liked everything but the color. Space grey turn out to be not my color for a MacBook.

They delayed my shipping date by 5 days and when I got it, it Did not turn on. Called Apple support. Said something is wrong with the product and should be returned.

Its got a nice metallic build, with a 2K resolution screen, bluetooth and a nice big trackpad... but it also ONLY has 120GB of storage for the entry level model, it has an ok cpu, i5 intel.. but intel hasnt really been the best choice as of lately for most things since Ryzen has been kicking ass. IT DOESNT EVEN HAVE A DEDICATED GRAPHICS CARD! There are so many laptops out there for the same price or less with pretty good GPUs and always start off with their entry models having AT LEAST 500GBs OF STORAGE! The keyboard isnt even that good! Im pretty sure a good amount of the money spent on this things design went into this stupid touch bar above the keyboard, who the h*ll needs this thing?! Its only good for changing my music volume! $1200 for this piece of overheating junk is not worth it in the slightest, brand name is meaningless and if youre buying this thing and giving it a good rating, youre clearly buying this blindly for the sake of the brand. Sure it probably looks cool and means you can blow your money to show off, but seriously this is not worth it no matter what youre using it for, for artists my ass, it cant even handle editing a 2 hour video and you could very easily do anything art related on any other pc other than apples, thats why my main driver is my windows gaming machine and my display tablet, which all together costed around the same price range as this junk.
