AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

bel processore sono passato da un 7700k a questo e devo ricredermi, temperature molto buone e prestazioni perfette, ottimo per fare live, il pc obs non lo sente proprio, consiglio

Buen producto en general el único punto en contra que no trae cpu cooler por el precio y mucha caja del producto

Initially, I didnt want to buy the 5900X as the 5800X served me well enough, though the extra cores would have been a little useful. However, when the sale came, it was better than even when I got my 5800X and that wasnt my real motivator for grabbing this. The real point was that I needed a 3000 series to upgrade someone that I was paying them back for assisting me with something. I initially was checking for a decent 5000 series to upgrade them from, but I was concerned that the system may not handle well and while they didnt need anything gaming oriented, I still wanted to give some teeth where it needed while using a B350 board. So I settled with buying the 5900X to give the 5800X to my father in exchange for the 3600X that he had which was mine originally. Hence the minor step up.

Decided to upgrade from my 3900x to this....worst decision in my life!

More than competes with intels $500 12900 in multicore operations. Slightly worse single core but still overkill for anything you want to do. Games at 1440p ultrawide all day long. Temps run between 36 and 82C with my AIO cooler (could definitely be less with a different radiator mounting spot but anything under 90C is fine for this CPU).

Maxing out at 74c while hitting speeds of nearly 5GHz (4.951) without OC while playing RDR2 and many other intensive games. Pretty awesome CPU

Despite BIOS updates making things slowly better over time, this CPU is the cause of many WHEA errors. There is a temporary workaround, which is disabling rushed shiny new features such as Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) causing instability, but then why not buy a 3900X instead and be better off.
