> 3 dayThis is my first AMD build for personal use. Ive previously used i7 processors and was satisfied with each generation but the 5900x is leagues ahead of any previous processor Ive used when it comes to productivity [MS Office, and intermediate use of Adobe Acrobat, Audition, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere]. I may have sacrificed single-core speed but I have several programs and browsers open most of the time, and this rises to the challenge and performs exceptionally well. On a separate note, I havent seen much difference between using this with 32GB [2x16GB 3600Mhz C18 Ram] vs 64GB [4x16GB 3600Mhz C18 Ram]. Thoroughly satisfied with the processor.

> 3 dayLast year, I built a 3700X machine on an X570 board so that I would have all of the features of the 5000 series of CPUs available on my board if I decided I wanted to upgrade later. Last week, my 10850K main PC started acting weird, randomly restarting out of the blue, so rather than immediately spend a bunch of time trying to troubleshoot that, I decided to get a 5900X and drop it into my X570 board instead. And boy is this thing quick. Its snappy with everything it does. I have it paired with an RTX 3080 and gaming with this combo is pure bliss. Load times in games are noticeably faster with the 5900X over even the 10850K.

> 3 dayThe CPU came intact and fully functional however I have to note the box came damaged like many other people who have reviewed their product. Not sure where the box gets damaged but for a $700 CPU the box shouldnt have a fingerprint on it.

Greater than one weekThe best thing about the Ryzen processors is that you have a lot of upgrade options. If you purchased a 3600X, you can stick a 5950X in the same socket. Well, ok, that wont work with every motherboard but generally speaking Im very happy with the plug-and-play nature of AMD cpus over the last few years, its saved me a lot of money.

> 3 dayI have gone through 2 of these in the last year. I don’t even play video games often and when I do it’s either Warzone or Dayz. Each CPU has had less then 400 hours on them and they keeping breaking. I’m not overclocked or any non sense. Don’t bother buying just go with an intel. They won’t replace your broken product either so enjoy a worthless chip.
