Great CPU for the price I got it for. Nice bump from a 3700x. I had to get a new cooler for this spicy cpu. Other than that Ive had no issues with this cpu.

Mi è piaciuto molto il fatto che il processore sia un proiettile, un po meno il fatto che scaldi parecchio (lo so che trattandosi di un AMD scaldano) però mi sarei aspettato qualche grado in meno tutto li.

Don’t let the stars detract from the value. It is a phenomenal CPU but it uses the same watts as the 5900x with less surface cooling area. It’s optimized for the stock form. But the 5900x with more cores has greater cooling area.

Dont buy from Techdealz! My chip arrived damaged with several pins bent and when installing the CPU (before checking pins) the motherboard will not post/boot with a solid orange (CPU fault) light.

I bought this as a placeholder while I wait for wider availability of the Ryzen 9 5900x. I upgraded from a Ryzen 9 3900x. The 5800x is an absolute beast. Destroys all my previous setups in terms of single core speed. Multi-core /almost/ matches my 3900x, but theres still a sizeable gap in performance. AMD absolutely hit it out of the park with Zen 3. Outside of rendering work, Im not really missing my 3900x.

Ich mag den Prozessor sehr gerne aber das Ding ist trotz Wasserkühlung schon sehr warm. jetzt wohne ich in einer Dachgeschoss Wohnung die macht das noch schlimmer. Er kommt sehr schnell auf Betriebs Temperatur damit muß man als alter Intel Nutzer erst einmal klar kommen. aber was das teil an Leistung bringt ist um weiten besser als das was mein i7 6700k gebracht hatte.
