> 3 dayPre-ordered directly from Amazon on launch day and it arrived 10 days later for £430 and while at that price you could argue its perhaps 50 quid more than it should be, but once installed I really have no complaints. Fantastic performance in games and a gigantic leap over my old Intel i5 4670k. Went from maxed out 100% CPU usage in every game I played to 20-50% at most, with an FPS boost across the board and games becoming incredibly stable with no stuttering or skipping.

> 3 dayGreat product. Works well with my Asus B550 -A-Gaming motherboard. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is because of bad packaging. I bought it using amazon global shipping and they shipped it in a small box with no air bubbles or any shock absorption.

09-11-2024Overpaid for this, i knew what i was getting into. It is in a weird spot where if you are gaming, go with a 5600x. If you have a workstation, go with a 5900x. The 5800x is good for both, but the price difference between the 5800x and the 5900x is small enough to just go with the 5900x. Of course, i bought this one because of availability.

Greater than one weekFirst of all, it arrived in a larger box, with protection in it. (I was worried about it arriving in an envelope like other review said, but it all went good with this one)

> 3 dayNot bad. I returned it for a 5900x for just $100 more. The 5800 presents a poor value for the money IMO.

Greater than one weekSuper easy to install and so far it works fantastically. Wish it came with thermal paste but it’s easy enough to get.
