> 3 dayThis is a great cpu and an absolute powerhouse for the money. Only downside to the chip runs very hot. I use MSI afterburner as a screen overlay in games, and according to that, the cpu runs between 70-75c at 20% usage… I cannot imagine what it would be like under full load! Besides this, it’s awesome though. Just make sure you pair it with an adequate cooler, and you should be fine.

> 3 dayWent from a i7-8700k to this. First AMD CPU since Athlon X2 but I definitely do not regret the move. It does get quite hot, using a bequiet! DRP4 to cool it and it can still spike all the way up to 82°C but that’s under an unrealistic synthetic load. At an ambient temp of 21-22°C, it idles at 32-36°C and, in normal gaming, it stays in the 54-70°C range, depending on the game.

> 3 dayThe chip arrived on time and the outside box was fine but there was a hole punched in on the side. The chip seems to work fine. I usually get an invoice on a product that ships through the mail so I can keep it for warranty if needed. These are my only concerns not complaints. The transaction was smooth and didnt have any problems.

> 3 dayGreat cpu runs a bit hot and sucks up a bit of power but it’s a beast and I also got it for $360 so even better
