I upgraded from the R7 3800x. I play at 1440p 144Hz with a RTX 3080. I’m seeing a pretty good increase of FPS across all my games. The only complaint is that the CPU runs super hot compared to the R7 3800x. While gaming it can go up to 87 degrees in matters of seconds. I played with the undervolting settings in bios and was able to bring my temps 10 degrees cooler with no decrease in performance, otherwise great CPU for gaming.

My son built his own gaming computer and this is a good component for it. Good quality and good price.

Bought it to replace my old 3800x. Temps are 10C+ higher on 5800x and performance is just marginally better in 1440p, Ill be returning it. If you value your money and ears dont bother with 5800x better go with 5600x or 5900x

Processore potente. Scrivo questa recensione per smentire coloro che lamentano alte temperature. Se utilizzate dissipazione di basso livello su un processore del genere, è normale che scaldi. Montato su una Msi b450 gaming plus max con un dissipatore arctic freezer 34 esport duo, e sotto stress non supera i 71 gradi. Unica nota, tra le immagini al disotto del processore cè un dissipatore stock amd che in realtà non è incluso nellacquisto
