Just wish I had gone with the Ryzen 9 for those additional beautiful cores. This platform rocks! This is an absolutely massive upgrade from my FX-8350 and its so stable. Ran furmark with no artifacts whatsoever.

Bought this for a new system and I must say it has done well under the games Im trying to play at 1440p! Im satisfied with temps however they fluctuate a lot and not sure if that matters because either way the chip performs extremely well for what is needed! Ive read somewhere its even better for editing but cant take my word for it! All in all great chip for my needs which is mostly gaming!

AMD is always a bargain. The Ryzen 7 3800X 8-Core has yet to disappoint and will not for many years to come. Definitely got a good deal with this! However I would not recommend the OEM fan that comes with the processor - better that you buy some after market fans or AIO.
