The 3800x is great, and really good value if you can get one for around £300. Sadly that’s based on experience of the one I purchased from another retailer. The box sent by Amazon, I realised after fitting, was a cheaper 3700x which in reality is very, very close in performance so I can’t be bothered trying to exchange it but recommend double checking the label before installation! 10/10 AMD, 3/10 Amazon.

Great upgrade, before I had been running a system built around the FX-9370 on a 990FX motherboard, went to the R7 3800X on an x570 board and have seen incredible performance gains.

Very fast cpu. Got it for 325 CAD when it was on sale.

Came with the cpu cooler wich has nice lighting effects that work with the MB rgb settings.
