Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

This case is perfect for my Seagate Backup Plus Slim 2TB drive. Fits perfectly and leaves room for the cable. Simple, no frills, exactly what I wanted.

I have 7 of these for components and drives. they are very protective from drops and well priced.

Fits the Western Digital My Passport Ultra external hard drive. Holds the hard drive firmly in place so that it doesnt slide around in the case and even has a fishnet for holding the USB cable. All in all, it fulfills what its supposed to do and does it for a great price.

I used to buy two such cases 2 year or 3 years ago. The quality was excellent. This time, as I got another external drive, I ordered this again... However, this time the first case that I received has defect in the hinge area. Then I asked for a return. Amazon sent me another one for free. Even though the second one has no hinge issue, the overall quality has decreased.. (in terms of the parallelization of the two halfs, etc)
