Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

Fits the hard drive incredibly well and is a great protector. This case has gotten smushed and bumped around in my backpack for almost a year now and there is no damage to it at all. I like that it has a little holder for the USB wire inside too.

Smartest thing Ive done was but this case. Safe travel and if you let people borrow your HD youll know its protected well.

Yes, this is just a small zippered case for a hard drive. I actually am using it for 2 bare 2.5 drives because I dont have enclosures and I didnt want them just sitting out. Works fine for that.

This was the third case I purchased for a G-technology external drive. Even though these were claimed to fit G-tech drives, neither did. Before ordering this case, I read the user Q&As more carefully, then decided to try it. Just confirming that it really does fit the G-tech 1 gig drive I have, and would probably easily fit a 2-gig drive. (Not weighing in on whether it would fit larger drives as I would need to check the dimensions.) The case itself is nothing fancy, but is a good basic soft-sided case for those who prefer soft-sided cases. Zipper zips easily and doesnt get caught. There is ample room to store the connecting cable. I havent had this long enough to rate the durability, but so far, so good. I have a similar Amazon basic case for a slightly smaller WD drive that I purchased a few years back and it still looks like new -- so I am hoping that this one will also age well.

Fits the Seagate 1.5TB backup plus drive very well. Not too big and provides very good protection. Has ample room for the drive and the cables.

Solid construction. Fits my Dell 1TB external drive perfectly with USB 3.0 cable. Zipper is high quality. Case is compact enough to fit nicely in my bag and protect the drive well. Roomy enough to also fit a couple of USB flash drives and another Micro USB cable, too. Highly recommend.

Its a flexible hard case, so if you were wanting something completely rigid this isnt it. But that being said, its a great case. It has a elastic band to hold the hard drive on one side, and a little pouch to holds cables and such on the other. Im very satisfied with this case.
