Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

Pros:

I purchased this product for protecting my HD while traveling. It came with very nice package that really amazed me. However, there was a little bad smell surprised me too.

This is one of those items that I found was excellent in every way. The case is a perfect fit for the Western Digital Passport drives which slide into a pocket on one side of the case. The other side of the case holds the USB connecting wire. The case is light in weight but strong enough to provide protection in most situations. Its not truly hard as if it were made of metal and a more a more apt description would be very stiff, but to me this could be a good thing because it would provide a small bit of cushion in the event that you were to drop the case on to a hard surface. I plan on getting several more to hold all four of my Passport drives. Oh yes, one other positive is that I think the price is very low for something of this quality - especially if youre a Prime member and get the free shipping.

Well its a case that holds my external hard drive. There is room for the cable that comes with it. It seems sturdy enough to keep it from being crushed unless you deliberately put a huge amount of weight on it.
