Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

Excellent !! This is my second one

This case seems sturdy enough to protect a portable drive. Its not quite a hard case, but a stiff case. Its quite roomy, and therein lies a problem. My Sengert portable drive is 1/4 thick but the case is more like 1. The mesh pocket holds it well enough, though. I just dont know what to do with the extra room.

I bought a couple of these. I picked up a hard drive for my computer and this case is ideal for storage. Im in a situation were I need to set up my computer and stuff each time I use it. The case excellent. I also purchased a Wi-Fi hotspot. That goes in the other case. It also holds the power cord.

Ive only ever owned one other portable hard drive case, which was from Case Logic. So, Ill be making comparisons to that one.

A must to buy

This case fits my Western Digital My Passport 2GB portable hard drive perfectly. The case itself is not soft, but with enough force it can be bent. It is not hard like plastic for example. This was something that I found extremely hard to tell by looking at it online and reading different cases product details. It is a rigid case, but can be bent. Part of my was slightly disappointed that it was as hard as say plastic when I got it, but then I realized that the case being rigid but somewhat flexible seems to allow for impacts to be absorbed by the case when I accidentally drop it.

I love it! Fits perfectly on my 15 macbook pro and all the pockets are useful. Also looks VERY elagant.

Excellent quality-holds the passport safely & snug. Helps keep up with the passport & keeps dirt & damage from getting to the passport. A must purchase with the passport.

good enough for keeping my external hard drive safe. Wouldnt risk dropping it though just to test it. The inside is not padded afterall.
