Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

I like the compact size compared to the one recommended with the Toshiba Canvio Advance 2TB HD - it was way too big and clunky for me. Nice semi-rigid shell. Price is right.

This is the perfect holder for the WD Passport portable storage. It fits perfectly and protects well !

This case fits my Seagate Expansion 2TB drive (STBX2000401) perfectly. The netted side keeps the UBS cable neatly tucked in while the elastic band on the other holds the hard drive firmly in place. The case itself zips either open or shut easily and the firmness of the outer covering is adequate for protection. At this price point, I believe it would be difficult to find a better option.

A must to buy

This little case is a lot sturdier than I realized after receiving it in my shipment. I was expecting a hard case to protect my external drive I have to carry around from time to time in a bag, and this fits the bill while also being durable. The zipper is nice and easy at its function to open and close the case without sticking or getting the teeth caught during the process. Its a very basic and simple hard case, the left side has a nice mesh pocket thats stitched in place sturdy to keep any hard drive cables contained in the same spot and avoid misplacing it or losing it in a larger bag. Because this hard case is pretty firm, its not going to allow much give if you try to add too many USB sticks, cables or a mini mouse inside with the drive-- if you can close the case and zip it up with ease then itll protect your tech gear nicely. I like how this hard case remains slim so that I can easily store it in my bag while on-the-go from home to the library. Even if you dont use this a external hard drive case, this could make for a nice small protective case for the smaller loose items in one place like USB sticks, small cords, headphones or a mouse.

Bought this for my passport and I love it. Compact and sturdy protection for my storage drive.

This case has one function: Hard Shell case for an external hard drive. However, it came up as a suggestion when I was looking for a small case for something else. I thought that I would give it a try, but this case is specifically made for an external hard drive. It is a unitasker.

The zipper sticks a bit on the corners -- but price is great.
