Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

Just purchased the 1TB Western Digital My Passport Ultra and this fits it perfectly. I put the hard drive under the band and the USB cord in the pocket.

Strong and stable protection for my irreplaceable data and programs. It is very light weight with a secure zipper and you cannot beat the price!

I was so disappointed as this was expensive to only work for a week. I live in the DR so it is expensive to ship back and then pay to have shipped again so I simply lost money with this purchase:(

I got this case to safely transport my Seagate Backup Plus Slim drive. The case is a little too big for it, but it is a hard shell case so I think the drive is reasonably well protected inside. I also like that it has a little compartment to store the USB cable.

This case is good and meets all specs – I expect that it will protect the drive well. I rated it 4 rather than 5 stars because the Inateck case is *just a bit* nicer in most aspects – zipper smoothness and fit & finish.

This carrying case appears to be tough enough to secure my portable hard drive. The construction seems sturdy. Only time will tell though.

I bought this for my daughter when I bought her a back-up hard drive. It was listed on Amazon adjacent to the hard drive, which was slightly misleading because I inferred that it would fit the Seagate. The Seagate is slightly larger than the My Passport Essential for which the carrying case is made. It takes some stuffing and maneuvering to get the zipper to close.
