Great case. Simple but basic.

Solid case

This case is one worth buying. It is very sturdy so you know your hard drive is well protected even if it may fall while in the case. Its nice and compact, easy to store; perfect fit for the drive and the cord. And it looks good. I love it. Id definitely recommend it over the case provided by Western Digital. It doesnt have nearly the quality material as this case by Amazon and the zipper is cheap.

WD_Black Game Drive is a little wider than My Passport Essential, but this version fits WD Black Drive.

perfect case

Yet another product from Amazon Basics which is wonderful. This hard case fits my WD Passport drive with cable perfectly. The elastic strap inside keeps the drive from moving around and the toughness of the case is great for everyday use. I move around quite a bit on a daily basis and this stays with my laptop. The price cant be beat and the quality is on par with other Basics products. Overall very satisfied!

This is a perfect carrying case for my WD edge 500GB for Mac. It provides good structure and protection for the external hard drive. It has a nice pouch on the inside for the usb cable. If you want more protection, like a rugged and metal shell, then dont go with this one. Its good quality and well made.

I read a few reviews saying this product does not protect or hold external hard drives very well. Fortunately, this case does the exact opposite. It fits my WD Passport 1TB for Mac snugly with sufficient room for the foot-long USB connector cord. The elastic band inside keeps the external hard drive secure against the case, protecting it from moving around inside. It looks, feels and is durable. It will protect your external hard drive from dings, drops, or scratches and all other problems you would run into on daily basis. Im very pleased with the case and how much it costs ($6.34)!
