I have two of these laptops, both were purchased brand new. Both were used about the same amount by two different people. Both had their CPU fans die at almost the same time. When I say die I mean loud noises, scratching, not cooling efficiently enough.

I dont like bulky thick laptops, this is great because its really thin compared to others, also it doesnt have too much led which i liked alot. It also has some minimal look. One thing I will say is the power brick, which is quite large and heavy, but other than that its a great laptop. I would love to see a type c charger from acer that we could purchase and use it for on this laptop. Will do a in depth review in 2 to 3 months.

It’s odd for a brand new computer to come with check contents if seal is broken disclaimer and for the seal to be broken so overtly does not make instill any sort of confidence in the device I will be using.

Would be better if it didnt randomly die while gaming. Kind of defeats the whole purpose. It IS PLUGGED IN and dying while gaming brand new. (Update jan 9 2023, laptops motherboard died completely on me randomly and they say it will cost 300$ or more for a fix even with warranty. Wish i couldve saved my money.

The Acer Predator Triton 500 is extremely fast. A lot of my gaming is Warframe which this handles beautifully, but to put this laptop through its paces I also ran Doom Eternal, Borderlands 3, and Quake Champions. Theyre as smooth as butter. Compared to other gaming laptops I appreciate the slim form factor and the weight. It seems like Acer really tried to keep this as compact as possible while keeping the 15.6 screen. I do have a few minor gripes. I wish the built-in management software had more configurable options for the keyboard backlight, but it does have lots of other things you can tweak that other management software like HPs currently doesnt like customize your boot-up image and fan speeds. The laptop also comes with a little bit of bloatware, but I always appreciate an 25gb boost to my Dropbox for another year. It says a lot that these are the only two things I can really complain about. This laptop is awesome. I love it, and I think you will too.

I have had mine for a couple of months now. It has ridden in planes, seen foreign countries, and has always worked.

Its a powerhorse of a laptop. You will most likely never hit the maximum refresh rate of 300hz, but thats where the G-sync comes in so youll have virtually no screen-tear. Surprisingly cool since it does have three fans inside. Just be aware that you pretty much need to have it plugged in at all times to do anything.

Un producto de altisima calidad anda increible, lo unico que no me agrada mucho es que se impregnan las huellas de tus manos en las zonas de contacto fuera de eso es una maquina hermosa

This slim and dense laptop packs a six core CPU that can turbo up to 5ghz, a 2070 super, and all the LEDs to light up a carnival into a laptop with a great screen. The heft and performance mean business, though the loud startup sound and fireworks display on the keyboard betrays a bit more whimsy. It can fill both niches nicely, as can it be a portable desktop replacement. I say portable, but at a very dense 5lbs (feels much heavier) and with a 4 hour battery life, its not a typical laptop. Between the low base CPU speed and the various max Q tricks used by the GPU, it can and does make sacrifices to allow for this portability. Most evident is the 230watt power pack, which is ridiculous for a laptop, but the GPU alone could draw more on the desktop, but upgradability is another issue.
