I purchased this during Prime Day and I couldnt be happier. No issues, runs every piece of software Ive thrown at it. Emulates games perfectly, the sound is surprisingly crisp for laptop speakers. 10/10 would recommend.

My favorite laptop. It is incredibly powerful and can handle anything. The battery life is pretty short though without the charger.

Acer went all out on the Predator. Nice surprise to see that they used DDR4-3200 (albeit not the lowest latency DIMMs) and a nice fast m.2 NVME drive. High performance CPU and GPU that fit in a nice thin laptop was a nice surprise considering heat dissipation that is required.

Initial Impressions:

It gets very hot then shuts down on me.

It comes in a very nice packaging, I was very excited when opening it. It seems to be very well made and professional looking. Unfortunately mine came damaged and I do not have the option to exchange it for a working model through Amazon

I received the laptop and immediately had issues charging it and keeping it on. Either an issue with the battery or charging port because it would always disconnect. Would not recommend purchasing off of amazon due to this third party seller.

Mostly just wanted to share what I didnt know.. the i9-12900H cannot be undervolted to help cool the system. You cant do it in the BIOS, or with XTU or Throttlestop.. its an Intel thing.. that being said you CAN easily control the fan speeds, etc. to try to keep the temps you want.

Best laptop I have had in my life.
