Computer seems fine but the battery won’t charge. After hours on the phone with Acer tech support they said I can send it to them for repair (it’s brand new!) or return it. Thankfully Amazon is taking it back.

This was a gift for my grandson. He seems to enjoy it and has not complained at all.

(Update: been three weeks since I got this laptop and Im still having no issues. Predator sense sometimes bugs or, but thats a software issue and I found out how to fix it whenever it does. I also found a solution to the battery problem. There are portable laptop chargers that are about $100 that can keep the laptop charged and running for and extra 6-8 hours depending on the chargers MaH.)

So when it just came, everything was perfect. Looked good, powered up good and functioned good. But the wifi fails to connect after 3 or maybe 4 days of playing league of legends, a game which literally requires no graphic & memory & CPU performance. Overheating? Yes but Im fine with it. Noise? Yes Im fine. Other detail issues? Yes but Im still fine. But it is not cool at all when your internet component started to fail at a rate of 1/5minutes and ended up with 1/minute. You know what is even funnier, I cannot even upload a picture because the wifi just constantly fail when I am literally writing this review. At first I thought it might be my wifi, but I contacted RCN and troubleshoot it, and then at the mean time I switched back to my Mac and the game went perfectly fine. So I thought it might work this time, but ended up with an EPIC FAIL. I also updated my network card drive and ended up even worse. Well I am not blaming Acer but I do wanna say thanks for ruining my winter vacation. Going back to college now lmao. Oh and another thing, I cannot submit this review now because I am disconnected. It is good no laptop but it had some problems also under two lights on the backside of the laptop they are not going to turn on and the battery is not working more than three hours Im not playing games Im just using Microsoft office and video editors in with that it is working only three hours of battery life so Im not happy with the battery and other work is all good and the boating is very fast, Acer must improve more than this

Great laptop. Battey could be better though.

Absolute great price to power ratio on this computer if you are willing to work with it a bit. There are a few things that need to be done in order for this computer to run as its intended to.

Love this thing. My wife got cheated on in a past relationship so she wants to know where Im at at all times, this affords me to stay at home and play AAA games. She doesnt care if i play video games the whole day as long as she knows where Im at. Jackpot.
