> 3 dayThe warranty from acer wasnt extended after it was resold, so there is no coverage for repairs. Worked great while it worked, but getting no response from reseller and Acer wants $200 to look at it.

> 3 dayI had nothing but problems from day one. On the very first boot it locked up and had to force shut down. Figured maybe it was just a fluke. Booted back up. Managed to start setting up. Locked up again. Force reboot. Work a bit more. Blue screen of death. Over and over

> 3 dayI purchased this gaming computer for my sons big Christmas present. The components list was amazing and I couldnt pass it up for the price. If you arent gaming, this machine is a wonder. Its fast and the screen is amazing. But when gaming, the overheating issues begin. I cant believe that the overheating is such a common issue and Acer still hasnt addressed it. Using Acers own Predator Sense monitoring program, I was hitting high 90s CPU temps. I lowered the settings on the games, lowered the refresh rate (one of the main reasons I purchased this laptop was because of the 144hz refresh rate) and even purchased a laptop cooling pad but nothing I did would keep those temps from getting too high. Frame rate drops and stuttering sucks during gaming and ruins the experience. I contacted Amazon Customer Service and they have shipped out a replacement. I will update once I receive the replacement.

> 3 dayI just got this laptop today after getting it for Cyber Monday. I will post a follow up after Ive had the chance to use it a couple weeks. For others like me that got it on Friday or Monday, the very first thing I did out of the box was to uninstall all of the bloatware, especially Symantec. That made the laptop feel significantly snappier. Text scaling comes set at 125% by default, which I absolutely hate. I set that to 100% and it makes the screen look SO much bigger. Updated the Nvidia driver and began to install Steam and games. Ill give it a try and see how it goes from there.

> 3 dayOverall this is a great laptop packing a lot of processing power. Its on the heavy side, so if you use a shoulder bag your shoulders will complain. The display is fantastic. Sharp and clear, bright, and excellent viewing angle. The quality of the camera is equally good. And it packs a lot of processing power.

Greater than one weekFor the money its about as good as it gets, at this time. Its not the most portable and doesnt get a lot of life off the battery, but that isnt the features Im looking for with this purchase. The screen is good. It loads very fast. Its easily upgraded (ram and hd)

> 3 dayLet me start by saying you will not see a Gaming Laptop at this price anywhere. (829.00). This thing is very slim but a tank. It is built very well and feels sturdy. It is not touchscreen but it is 144hz.

> 3 dayGreat mid to entry level gaming laptop. Been running most games at 1080 max to high setting with a solid 60fps. Only issue is the cpu cooling. I purchased a cooling deck and run the fans on max but the cpu sits around mid 80c, with some spikes causing some thermal throttling. GPU temps are perfect, 60-70c no thermal throttle on the gpu. All and all a great setup.

> 3 dayFor the price this is a very solid machine - I dont do a ton of really heavy gaming but do play some and it has preformed great. I also use it for solidworks and 3d printing and its been more than enough for my hobbyist requirements. I love the feel of the keyboard and it has a nice screen. Personally I think the look is terrible , it loos like a 12 year old designed it... its too angry and looks like its trying too hard... I also dont really care so its all good as I will not use this for business use and prefer my XPS15 in both size, looks and portability. The bloatware is also a pain for a minute until its all gone.
