Ok, you will here that this laptop gets hot, it is a gaming laptop, fast cpus get hot.

Been able to play every game I own, and as an avid gamer, that list is extensive. The light-up keyboard only lights up red, but that isnt too important. The screen is better than my TV, startup takes moments thanks to the SSD, however, an external drive is recommended if you have multiple games, or have anything else that might take up more than 200GB worth of storage.

Against my better judgment, I opted for this laptop rather than spending a few hundred dollars more to purchase an ASUS gaming laptop model (my usual product) and Ive regretted ever since.

So upset with this purchase. Bought it as a Christmas gift for my grandson and it overheats and they won’t let me exchange it for a new one. I’m out $1200. Thanks for nothing and no resolution other than “maybe someone can fix it.” It’s new and I missed the return date. I only see my grandson once a month. Very upset over this.

Purchased this laptop less than a month ago, and enjoying it. Came as advertised with the extra caddy, screws and everything. My framerates are amazing, and I play most games on Ultra (automatic settings) when available. The laptop does get hot, which is expected of a gaming laptop, as is the low battery life. If youre ok with using it as a stationary laptop with limited movement then youll be just fine.

Ive now owned this laptop since Feb19 and rolling into May now. I will agree with others comments that this laptop can handle pretty much any game currently on the market, PUBG APEX The Division Etc. It will NOT handle this well out of the box though. You absolutely need to under volt the CPU otherwise it gets too hot. The GPU/CPU is located right under the W and 3 keys which playing any of the games noted above will be serious issues where it is uncomfortable to hold move forward down for extended periods due to being hot to the touch. Gaming will push to 95 degrees.

Let me start by saying you will not see a Gaming Laptop at this price anywhere. (829.00). This thing is very slim but a tank. It is built very well and feels sturdy. It is not touchscreen but it is 144hz.
