The heat issue is very real. Playing a game for a few hours and started getting very uncomfortable holding down the W key.

Overall, great laptop. Start with the bad then Ill go to the good, cause there is very little bad so lets get it out of the way. The screen is flimsy, it has a flimsy plastic case, and with a HUGE 1 inch bezel all the way around they could have sprung for stiffer plastic, so be careful, do not set anything on top of it, any pressure could be disastrous. As many reviews will tell you, this thing gets HOT when overclocking even with fans set to max, I will be investing in a very nice cooling pad for it and update once I see how that helps. Lastly the touch pad, the thing is very poorly made. Its not the least responsive, but the buttons underneath it for clicking are trash, they dont work all the time, and they creak and groan every time you touch the touchpad on the ride side, hoping it doesnt break and is simply annoying. Now for the good. This thing looks downright sick, on top of aesthetics the screen quality is great. Its a great size for 1080p, and with 144hz refresh rate it can run games like Overwatch and the Borderlands series on medium settings with 144 frame rate which is way more important to me than graphics quality, (when overclocked and fans all the way up) with minimal issues. I also run galactic civilizaton 3 on high settings, with large galaxies and fast pacing which is strenuous on a computer as well and this thing handles it phenomenally. The keyboard actually is very nice to type on, feels comfortable when writing essays. The spare storage bay was easy to use, I put a firefox 2tb sshd in it and it works great. Overall it is a great laptop and I have recommended it to several friends and two bought it and love it as well. I do wish that the touch pad was better and the screen was sturdier, but youll probably not find a better laptop for the price or even a couple hundred dollars more.

I bought my Helios in October, it is great in everything, really. But before buying from outside US be cautious because its warranty isnt global, for example here in the country of Georgia (Europe) they do not support warranty. Also, from the very beginning this laptop has issue with CPU noise. For some its very strange to hear, but yes, CPU of my laptop have buzzing sound that changes simultaneously with my activity (i.e. while scrolling on web or etc.).

Lets start off with the obvious and most discussed element of this laptop. The battery on this thing is an absolute nightmare with the life span of a mayfly, so plan on leaving it plugged in most the time. Ive even had it randomly stop charging when the cord gets bumped or slightly moved which is a first. That said, the laptop itself delivers. Its a sturdy gaming laptop with clear picture, a good engine and can handle high demand games (which is heck of a thing to be able to say about a gaming laptop). The casing design is a bit silly but Im convinced that sucker could withstand being dropped from passing plane its so tough. For the price, this is a great buy.

I collected the money in three years and I was hesitant to buy a lot of options and I thought it was a good choice from when I bought this laptop that it is cheap for the remaining companies and at the same time strong strong specifications for middle class I recommend buying Amazon thanks to this device

I really enjoyed this laptop. It gaming laptop does lack storage but it makes up with seamless graphics and fast loading. I think this is the perfect mid-range gaming laptop. Easy access to fan controls and give you full control of the overclock that is fast and easy to do. Battery last like any other laptop, not long enough. Perfect buy to do school and gaming.
