I use my laptop mainly for work, some for personal reasons, and some for gaming. It handles gaming with ease. Fast, crisp, high frame rate, amazing speed. The screen is great for other uses too, including productivity, videos, etc.

Bought this to replace an old Asus gaming laptop, after doing a bunch of research. The Helios 300 is not top-of-the-line, and Id prefer an AMD CPU over Intel (whose lunch AMD is eating this generation), but I am not a l33t gamer and I could not get past the value offered by this machine. I upgraded it to 32GB RAM and threw in a 1TB WD Black and its good to go. A fairly resource-intensive (and as-yet not well-optimized) game like 7 Days to Die is playing at 70-80 FPS on Ultra settings (no turbo or other overclocking shenanigans). They keyboard has three or four lighting zones, but never really played with them. You should never put a laptop literally on your lap, at least if it has vent holes on the bottom, but its definitely a Bad Idea with this one. It gets uncomfortably hot on the bottom and unrestricted airflow is a must. Put it on a hard surface. I actually have shims lifting it up a bit at each foot, so theres a good 3/4 space underneath it.

Absolute garbage ..on top of that they are like always hoping you dont notice the part they are ripping off on...In this case ..its the harddrive. ACER IS RUINJNG THEIR GOOD NAME ..BUY SELLING 20 YEARS TECH IN NEW SHELLS

This laptop is insane for the money. Right now you can get it for $999 and it comes with a 10th gen intel processor and an rtx 2060. This laptop is insane at gaming at 1080p, in some demanding titles you may have to lower your framerate some because of drops in the 40s but it doesnt look to much different. I love it because i can take it anywhere instead of a console or a desktop tower. I would definitely buy it if you can get it for 1200 or less. Great, great buy!!

The title says it all. A little heavy, but thats to be expected with a gaming laptop. If youre looking for the power of a PC in an affordable laptop, this is the one for you.

Great for gaming, good heat control. Acer fixed alot of issues from the old machine, lowered the price and upped the specs. The 2060 contained is a beast which isnt going to heat your keys to the point of cooking your fingertips as old models did. Fans were split up and now had one on each side, sharing the cooling across the devices better.

I love this PC as it’s my first experience with gaming PCs and it’s definitely more than just a stepping stone to a full desktop gaming rig.

Great product for the price. Be wary when buying this laptop from other places, as it may not come with the 144hz refresh rate that is advertised here.
