This Acer Predator Helios 300 gaming computer offers probably the best performance you can get at an entry level price for a gaming laptop. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 with 6 GB of dedicated GDDR6 VRAM GPU has a lot to do with that.

I got this laptop and it works amazingly but then the CPU fan stopped working. I looked it up and this appears to be a common issue, so if you buy this laptop make sure to get a warranty so you can get your CPU fan fixed

After spending hours researching what laptop to get, I went with the Helios 300. It has good battery life, a super fast refresh rate and its specs looked really good for the price. The Predator sense app that it comes with is super useful as you can customize pretty much every aspect of the laptop. I only have small 2 problems with the laptop. The fans can get pretty loud at times but you can customize fan speed through the Predator Sense app and the other problem is that when playing games it will blow hot air onto your right hand. Not much of an actually problem but it’s different from my last laptop and something to get used to.

It took 23 days to arrive in turkey. It opens very fast in about 15 seconds. However, the mousepad is not stable, so I use a mouse. when I play games the CPU temperature rises up to +85 degrees. and sometimes there is a crackling noise from the video card. but I think it is the best product to buy at this price.

It’s okay for the money but not really a good buy spend more money to buy better stuff

One of the reasons I bought this computer is the price-performance ratio and (in advertisement) it is easy to upgrade the hardware, such as SSD and RAM. However, I was wrong. Those teardown videos said very well, but you cant implement it-if you happen to get a laptop that cannot be opened. You removed all the screws, but the chassis cannot be disassembled like glue. The tutorial on the Acer website is of no use. Of course I know how many screws there are, how to install the SSD, and the problem is how to open the chassis like in the tutorial and video! If I can’t upgrade the hardware myself, I would rather spend a little more money to buy high-end laptops from other brands.

Just for the headline, I had to retype 3 words. The keys do not pick up the presses at all. It looks pretty, but you definitely have to be heavy fingered to type anything. Other than that, Ive had no issues with this laptop. Amazing little gaming device and works great with every program Ive tried so far.
