> 3 dayWhen I first heard about this monitor, it was almost too good to be true, an under $200 g-sync compatible, 144hz monitor?! I mean come on who are you kidding? My curiosity got the best of me and I had to check it out. At first glance it seemed pretty good, but after reading other reviews I was skeptical because I feared I was going to regret buying it. People had said that they had monitors with dead pixels and washed out colors, or simply a black/white screen. However, the huge amount of positive reviews just made me want it even more. After receiving this monitor and testing it out, it did not disappoint at all. Initially I had it hooked up to my laptop through HDMI (supports 48-120hz), but I realized that I wasnt using the monitor to its full potential and so I went ahead and purchased a USB type-c to DP cable and viola! I hit that beautiful 144hz and I can tell you this, once you reach 144hz, youre definitely not going to want to drop back down to 60hz. I paired it with my older Acer KG221Q monitor to get a nice dual monitor setup and it looks wonderful. Anyways I have nothing but praises for this monitor. Pros: - 144hz (so smooth!) - 24 this is the ideal size for gaming and even work related tasks - three unique ports for display (HDMIx1, DPx1, DVIx1) - brightness (its literally the brightest screen ever, I think like 316 nits or something) - color accuracy is wonderful (around 96% out of the box, you can see this in the picture I took compared to my older monitor - The ergonomic features is really the cherry on top with the swivel, tilt, and height flexibility Cons: - This may be an issue to some but for me its not that big: pixel density/ppi (pixels-per-inch), the pixel density is as big as I would like it to be, coming in at about 92ppi at 1080p vs the typical 100ppi+ sweetspots at 1080p. It is a 24 so it makes sense that the pixels will be stretched slightly, vs say a 24 1440p 60hz monitor. Again, this isnt a big problem for me as Im not sitting like two inches away from my screen and its not that noticeable when doing normal tasks whether it be gaming, work, etc. [REMEMBER 24 1080p 144hz > 24 1440p 60hz] Side note: make sure you go to settings in order to change the refresh rate to 144hz, otherwise itll most likely be set by default to 60hz out of the box. Also YOU NEED USE THE DISPLAY PORT TO GET FULL 144hz, HDMI will only get you up to 120hz, and thats if you have an HDMI cable that supports that bandwidth.

Greater than one weekI bought two monitors as I like playing games and keeping track of other things at the same time, such as YouTube videos, or Discord chat. Pros: Its 144Hz which makes things look very smooth. The stand is very adjustable, as advertised. The setup was pretty painless. Cons: The color temperature was a bit more yellow than I would like, no matter how much I tweaked the color settings, it always looked yellow. I also noticed a dead pixel after about 5 days of use. Viewing angles not particularly great. A minor nitpick but the power indicator LEDs on the bottom right of the screen feel just a tad too bright and they often catch my eye when playing games or doing work. For the price I dont think its bad, however I do intend to return the two I bought as theyre not quite what I need.

> 3 dayI bought this for the response time and the 144hz refresh rate, but the color issues are making me consider returning it. I like that it comes with a height/tilt adjustable stand--thats part of why I got this one over other options . The color and brightness issues I describe below are the main reason I give it 3 stars. I didnt think it would be as bad as it is. It has worked fine otherwise, so if you still think it wont bother you, it might be worth considering as a 144hz option, but I would recommend comparing it against other options first. *Color issues: I have noticed the frequently cited color issues. Out of the box, the colors are very off and very washed out. After calibrating the color and brightness, it looked a little bit better, but the colors were still off and inconsistent, and screen felt dim because of how low I had to adjust the brightness. The top left corner of the screen on my unit is also slightly more saturated than the rest of the screen which isnt noticeable unless the screen is a solid color like in some menus and on the Windows 10 ctrl+alt+delete screen. I know TN panels often have flat colors, but my laptop has a TN panel that does well enough. The color issues on this panel are extreme. Cables in the box: Mine came with a Displayport cable and a 3.5mm aux jack. You MUST use a Displayport or Dual-Link DVI cable to take advantage of the 144hz refresh rate. Otherwise, it will be capped at a lower refresh rate, so its nice that that was included. I will complain about the color, but props to Acer for including the right cable in the box.

> 3 dayPoor QC resulted in this monitor being shipped defective with thin lines ever few rows of pixels (I had this same issue with a Mac display so I was quick to notice) and in less than 24 hours of the display being used I have already received a dead pixel, I am assuming these issues are from a faulty internal power supply as the brightness flickers on the display at some points. Ill update my review when the replacement arrives however dealing with returns and a faulty unit leaves a sour taste in my mouth. However at this price for a name brand monitor for 2022 its still a good deal, if the replacement model is not defective as well.

Greater than one weekThis Monitor Barely Had Any Reviews But It Was Well Worth The Price It Was ($119) Which Is The Price Of Most Off Brand Ones. Its Been Perfect For Gaming And The Refresh Rate Is Great. Playing Competitive FPS Games Shows No Signs Of Tearing Or Latency Lag Its Smooth And Crisp. I Chose This Over The Sceptre Monitor Everyone Recommends For A Budget Gaming Monitor, The One Drawback Is That It Doesnt Have Speakers But I Use A Laptop So If Im Not Using My Headphones It Has Speakers. Sidenote: The Screen Height And Angle Is Adjustable And Has Some Cable Management

> 3 dayI bought this G-Sync monitor and was extremely excited to get it up and running. The minute I got home from work and plugged it into my video card, things started to go south. First off, my second monitor which was plugged into my VC via HDMI was no longer recognized. I went to reboot to see if that would fix the problem and suddenly my computer had a crash dump, which it hasnt had in 3 years. Once the crash dump was finished processing I decided to reinstall my video card drivers to see if that would fix the issue. Once again, I rebooted, and once again, I got a crash dump. Something about this monitor was conflicting with my video card. I decided to give up on trying to fix that and instead moved on to see how the monitor impacted my gameplay. I booted up Diablo 3 and was prepared to be blown away--but no change. I started to google how to set up my G-sync monitor. Pages upon pages of instructions until I finally found a simple process. I opened my NVidia control panel and went to the place where enabling G-Sync was supposed to be and it wasnt there. I even verified through the NVidia site that my video card supported G-Sync so I was at a loss. Another googled webpage told me to turn on Vertical Sync via my NVidia control panel and that that would enable G-Sync---once again to no avail. I finally called a computer expert friend of mine for some help. He remoted in and tried to do all the same steps I did and wasnt able to find any option to enable G-Sync. He was though, able to go into my monitor setting and turn it up to 144hz, which DID look amazing. But no G-sync for gameplay. So thats all the technical headache. Aesthetically, this monitor has much to be desired and is really showing its age. The monitor is thick, with a thick frame. Doesnt match the look and feel of modern, sleeker monitors. Looked like an ugly stepchild when sitting next to my Dell monitor. Pros: 144hz looks nice Very reasonable price for a monitor Cons: Very difficult to get working properly Not compatible with some NVidia video cards Ugly aesthetics

> 3 dayI bought this for $209 and is the best deal you will find for all the features you get with it. Comes with display port, which is extremely hard to find at this price and of course freesync (just make sure your CPU is compatible with freesync, otherwise this is useless). Runs great at 144hz and there is no input lag whatsoever. The main complaint i see about this monitor is that the colors come washed out, but personally I think the picture looks fine. The picture isnt anything to brag about but the way people exaggerate it makes it seem like the worst monitor on the market. PROS: Excellent value Freesync Display port (comes with cable) Base is amazing! Heavy and stable. Raises up high, tilts far enough and has a great swivel. CONS: some people would say washed out colors but I havent seen this to be an issue. Picture out of the box looks fine IMO.

> 3 dayIt’s hard to recommend this monitor. I received my first one with a dead pixel on arrival which I noticed not even 10 minutes into use. But I wasn’t willing to let one bad monitor ruin the experience for me. So I requested a replacement, and when I received a new one it had a white spot at the top of the monitor. However that wasn’t enough for me to call it quits. I continued to use the monitor for another week until I was running some benchmarks which required me to turn off G-Sync. Which didn’t cause any problems until I turn G-Sync back on which caused a dead pixel to appear. I don’t think it’s a problem with G-Sync, it’s a problem with how the monitor wants to be able to run G-Sync and AMD Freesync. The store page claims to be G-Sync compatible but when you receive the item, the packaging only says that it is Freesync compatible. I am convinced now that I have gone through two of these monitors, that these monitors are not truly compatible with G-Sync which is causing these monitors to to damage themselves. Despite all of those problems, the overall quality of the monitor is great. When you receive the monitor is has a blue light filter enabled by default but with a little bit of tweaking with the settings you can get rid of that easily. The refresh rate is smooth at 144 hz with very little tracing or motion blur. Sadly it is not oveclockable to 165 hz, and any attempt to do so will cause the screen to go black until the refresh rate gets changed back to 144 hz. Despite the problems that G-Sync may cause, if you can turn it on without damaging you monitor it is well worth it. G-Sync offers a much smoother experience with virtually no screen tearing to be seen and you can expect the same with AMD Freesync if you are on team Red. Final conclusions, the monitor is great for the price and offers a lot more features than I was expecting. However the dead pixels make it hard for me to recommend seeing as I have now had to return two of these monitors.

> 3 dayGood blacks No visible edge bleeding Very flexible stand I have it side by side with my main 4k 144hz monitor and I gotta say it aint that bad at all considering it is 1/5 of the price. I downloaded icc profile from rtings for this monitor, it allows to apply calibrated profile to this monitor for better colors. This is a very decent monitor for gaming and browsing. I found no problems with it although I wish it came with DP cable instead of hdmi.
