I bought this for $209 and is the best deal you will find for all the features you get with it. Comes with display port, which is extremely hard to find at this price and of course freesync (just make sure your CPU is compatible with freesync, otherwise this is useless). Runs great at 144hz and there is no input lag whatsoever. The main complaint i see about this monitor is that the colors come washed out, but personally I think the picture looks fine. The picture isnt anything to brag about but the way people exaggerate it makes it seem like the worst monitor on the market. PROS: Excellent value Freesync Display port (comes with cable) Base is amazing! Heavy and stable. Raises up high, tilts far enough and has a great swivel. CONS: some people would say washed out colors but I havent seen this to be an issue. Picture out of the box looks fine IMO.

I use this computer monitor primarily to play World of Warcraft. I would not say Im a professional gamer, but if youre familiar with the game, Im a 2k pvper, do relatively high mythic+, and regularly get 90th percentile parses in heroic raids. I say this because I have noticed a difference in my gaming since getting the monitor. Im much more aware of my positioning in pvp because of the 144hz, same for mythic+. I tried the BenQZowie monitor without Gsync first, and it did not even compare to this Acer monitor. Im running a GTX1070 with Ryzen 2700x. The gysnc was completely necessary, and makes a huge difference. The smoothness and reaction time of my Razer chroma mouse was noticeably better upon first use. Just disable Vertical Sync in games and have GSync running. I did not have to do any color correction out of the box for this monitor. I was satisfied with it as is. I dont think this monitor is just good for the money. It is just a plain good monitor.

Monitor has a good refresh rate but has issues with G-sync, specifically stuttering; hasnt had issue on other displays, unsure if its due to issues w/ drivers, settings on monitor/PC, etc. Color leaves a lot to be desired.

This monitor was a huge upgrade, 1080p never looked so good before, and its on a big screen too. The 144hz refresh rate was also a huge difference. Trust me when I say that once you upgrade to 144hz you will never want to go back to 60hz. The only problem that I do have with this is that the stand could be a bit slimmer. I would prefer if my monitor was closer to the wall, but thats my personal taste and would probably affect durability.

Id love to show the colors, but the monitor died today at less than 4 months. From what I remember: the colors are washed out and ugly; correcting them takes a bit of effort (and that doesnt guarantee youll ever get the colors right). Brightness is average, I guess. My Asus that was half the price of this looks so much better as far as colors go and brightness. The speakers are... complete garbage. If you like blasting sound out of Apple Earbuds (the ones that come for free with iPhones/iTouches), then these are for you cause thats what it sounds like. You absolutely need headphones or separate speakers for these. As a 144 Hz, it does its job and can go up to 144 Hz. Not much else to say there. My biggest issue is it is a load of crap and mine died within 4 months, and the only thing it did was sit on my desk. If it goes to sleep, it will be unable to receive signal from your PC and is pretty much dead. I managed to get it working again by powering it off, replugging the DP cable, etc., but it just decided to completely die today and wont get signal regardless what I do. Im looking to get it repaired so I can sell it off and buy a quality monitor. I guess I only have myself to blame for trying to cheap out on something as important as a monitor and buying this hunk of crap. As you can see in my picture, there is dust resting on the stand from how little I interacted with it physically. It did not break because I jostled it too much or anything of that sort; left alone it decided to just die. Do yourself a favor and spend a bit more to buy one from a more reputable and quality brand.

For $209.99, this is one of the cheapest 144 Hz gaming monitors you will find on Amazon. I like Acer as a brand and they have come up big with another quality product. This monitor is extremely easy to assemble, with the base using just one screw and the stand using a snap-in functionality to the screen. I like the design and the bezel is a decent size. The buttons look nice and give you easy access to some useful functions like adjusting brightness, volume, mode, etc. Be wary that the colors it comes with out of the box are sub-optimal. If you are looking to game or do any graphic intensive activities, consider looking up some color profiles online or creating your own. Not to be alarmed, this is the same with all other cheaper 144 Hz monitors (out of the box, that is). The DP cable that comes with the monitor is somewhat short (3ft, I believe) so if you need your monitor somewhat far from a plug, consider purchasing a longer DP cable (PrimeNow has a 10ft cable for $11.99). Also, this monitor has no cable management (not a big deal), so if youre worried about cords hanging loose, maybe invest in some cable clips. Overall a great product for the value, quality, and functionality.

I have had this monitor for about a week now and I have to say this thing is great. I am using it for ps4 as of right now because I plan to get a pc in the future. Yes I know that 144hz isnt compatible with a console but as of right now this is all I have. Im mostly playing fortnite at the moment but I tested it out on other games and I literally just realized that there is a slight ghosting. Its nothing noticable at all but I was spaced out staring at my character while spinning and I saw like a small shadow or “ghosting” effect coming off his arm. Like i said nothing to worry about as I am guessing this wont happen on 144hz cause its a faster refresh rate and will be a ton smoother. I am just curious if anyone has this issue on theirs as well? This super unoticable ghosting is no reason why you should not get the monitor unless you notice a lot

I bought this monitor back in 2019 december so its just been about 3 years. I am still using it as I speak and its been an awesome monitor. No dead pixels or anything, the only thing that has bugged me with this monitor is a group of atleast 2 or 3 stuck pixels that will be on my screen but to fix it all I do is barely push on my monitor where the pixel is and it goes away for a while, itll come back in weeks to months later but its not a huge deal to me, still a great monitor for the price.

I bought this monitor back in 2018 for $200, and it is still just as good as it was when I first purchased it. Im actually sad that the price has shot up since 2018 because Im looking into purchasing a second one of these. I mainly use this monitor for gaming (with G-sync Compatibility enabled), streaming movies, and schoolwork. I really have no complaints about this product. If you havent used a 144hz monitor before, the difference between 60hz and 144hz is noticeable. Something as simple as moving my mouse cursor is just an overall better experience. The 1ms refresh rate is also noticeable compared to my old monitor which is at a 5ms refresh rate. If this monitor ever drops back down to $200, I would definitely purchase it again. At its current price of $300 (on the Acer website), there may be other products on the market that have comparable or better features.

Sorry for the messy photo, but my cables were all organized until Acer support wanted me to try different cables to try and fix this white screen. Just bought this product 8/6/2019, and Im writing this as of 8/11/2019. I was only able to use it for 5 days and when I got home, excitedly turned on the computer, started playing my game, and suddenly, just a blank....white.....screen. Called Amazon Tech Support, and looks like they knew right away the issue, dead LCD. They recommended to either contact Acer Warranty for a replacement, or just do a return. I attempted to file a warranty claim with Acer using their website. I was able to fill in all the details, hit the last checkbox, and when I hit NEXT, it doesnt let me through. Maybe its because Im using Safari, so I tried Firefox, still the same thing. But hey, maybe their website is not optimized for Mac, lets try my Windows laptop. Still the same thing. Now Im pissed. Lets try calling their 24/7 Tech Support, which made me do the steps which I already told from the start that I already did prior to calling, but okay, I guess you wanna make sure. Here comes the fun part, I will be shipping the monitor to Texas, and any damage incurred during shipping will void the freakin warranty. GREAT! WHAT COULD GO WRONG DURING SHIPPING RIGHT? Oh, and dont forget, it takes 7-10 business days for them to check it out, and thats starting from when they receive the monitor. Good thing I still have the box because for sure, its way faster to return this piece of crap to Amazon and order a non-ACER one and it will take me less than a week to receive it. RANT OVER, NOW HERE COMES THE REVIEW FOR THE 5 DAYS I WAS ABLE TO ENJOY IT. Pros: - Jumping from 60Hz to 144Hz is something else. Once you go 144Hz, you cant go back to 60Hz. Everything is buttery smooth on my games in Ultra. I never knew watching yourself hover your mouse on the screen would be satisfying. - Comes with a Display Port cable, so you dont have to buy one. - The swivel, tilt, height adjustable mount is interesting. Very easy to work with. Youll have to see for yourself to know what I mean. - Box is really solid. I feel like if I kick it with the monitor inside, it wont break. Im pretty sure our folks on the Amazon warehouse already threw this thing multiple times but it still survived without any major defects on the box. Cons: - Very unfriendly UI on the settings of the monitor. Its a chore to actually adjust stuff, and the settings that you get are hard to navigate at. - Its a TN screen, so if youre coming from an IPS display, its not a pretty sight. Some of the stuff on the screen actually is blurred if its text, but with any graphic programs, really works well. - I didnt notice any response delay difference between my 60Hz Dell IPS monitor vs this monitor. Both of them seem to have barely noticeable response times, but maybe its because I only play MMOs and not shooters. - Broke down on me on the 6th day. White screen of death. Im glad that those who got working ones are enjoying their monitors. Sadly for me, thats not the case.
