Im late to the party but not to late to enjoy this. I love the 8 x 10. I got it after I got the 3 from Ranger. In love and need more paint.

These are some backgrounds for cards that didnt take but 5 minutes. I used the ink pads I have, Ranger Distress Oxide ink pads, and pressed the ink pads directly onto the Gel Press in different directions and areas for different effects. I used the brayer I had to blend the squares of color. To clean the brayer, I would roll it over a blank piece of cardstock a few times giving me more backgrounds I can use. To clean the Gel Press, I press a blank piece of cardstock onto the gel and it removes the ink. Use what you have on hand. Its fun!

Ive read and seen people using this, so I had some idea before purchasing it. Im a card maker and use this to make a background paper. Not only it helps me to make customized papers but also, its really soothing when Im using this! Maybe due to the texture of this gel plate.. The reason I bought this (6 x 6)at Amazon was due to the price. Some sells gel press way to expensive, even the same brand. And Im not sure why but after observing the prices over the time, the price was much better than 5 x 7 which I initially wanted. Im happy with the purchase with the quality and the price!
