> 3 dayI just started mixed media and abstract painting. My teacher had one of these and I had to have my own. It is a perfect size for the 8 x 11, 8 x 10 papers. It is so easy to clean. I look forward to using it repeatedly. Thank you. Happy Artist!

> 3 dayWorks great and has good instructions for use. Comes in a sturdy plastic case that can be used for storage, which is nice. With adult supervision, it would be fun for children, but I enjoy using it in my artwork.

> 3 dayI absolutely love this little printmaking tool. So easy to use, and one never knows what type of print is pulled. Really addictive and fun to use!! I use my prints from it in card making and backgrounds for painting!

> 3 dayThis product helps me quickly, efficiently and evenly apply a thin layer of color across a 12”x12” sheet of card stock -exactly the thing I had in mind. I find it has a delightful feel and (almost imperceptible) scent. I am fully satisfied with the product itself and look forward to getting more creative with it. I’ve already realized I can use it to spread glue across an entire sheet of paper…. so many possibilities. Sadly, the clamshell it comes in was a crushed and splintered along one edge so I couldn’t use it for storage between uses. This did not affect the function of the product, however.

> 3 dayI never used a geli plate before this one so I guess I just had to get used to it’s size. This can be good or bad depending on how much room you have. It does what it is supposed to and ive been experimenting and playing with it. All in all I’m enjoying the Geli Plate

> 3 daySorry! I didn’t think to take a picture and I’m certainly not going to recreate the mess! I enjoy using my gel plate for card making however yesterday I was using alcohol inks and tried adding in an alloy ink to get the metallic effect and the plate did not transfer the ink to the paper. It stick to the plate and I never did get it so off. The regular alcohol inks came right off. I would advise you avoid alloy inks.

> 3 dayOne of my sisters introduced me to the Gel Plate. With no prior knowledge of it, nor techniques for its use, I was able to use the plate immediately as I experimented with color and eventually with stencils. Under supervision, this literally is a product for all ages. There is a learning curve, but one that can be extremely satisfying with use...the only real limitation will be the limits of ones own creativity. Have used the plate with stunning effects just using leaves from one of the trees outside. With the use of stencils, also available here on Amazon, you will get a more fixed, predictable final outcome, within the vast array of color combinations that Acrylics affords. If you want an idea of what to expect from the Gel Plate, look up videos on YouTube. Quite a few of the excellent video instructors have their own shops here within Amazon. If you have a budding artist in your family that you love, this would make a perfect gift and one that can help open the doors of creativity for so many, no matter how young, nor how old, (I am soon to be 70). Yes, I would highly recommend this to others to enjoy!
