ZooMed Eco Cage Carpet for 55 Gallon tanks, 13”x48”

This fits perfect inside our 55 gallon tank. It will be much easier substrate to take care of than loose sand. I love that it is machine washable.

Its a tank mat, but far cheaper than purchasing from your local highly overpriced pet store. Came in on time and was packaged well.

You cant beat reptile liners for an easy to clean experience! In larger set ups this is especially true, I doubt Ill ever go back to bedding. This stuff is pretty tough and easy as can be to clean. My snake enjoys it too, and I dont have to worry about my bedding coming with mites. Very happy with my purchase.

Only one complaint about this and that is that two of my pythons burrowed under it... silly beloved scalebabies! So I went down and bought some velcro strips to hold it down where it covers their UTH, and once I get that put in place I anticipate no further problems. I just turned their UTH off in the meantime so they wont burn themselves. I have this in five of my eight snake habitats, and love it, only in one tank have they burrowed under it. Wont be using it in the other tanks because those snakes are natural burrowers (corn snakes and rat snakes like soil to dig in, wont deprive them of that). Most of my pythons and boas love it, though!

I try to get brown, because my torts try to eat the green one. This works the best for travel, but I also use it in half their enclosure, especially under their food dish. You can wash it, toss it, wipe it, etc. Doesnt create dust like a lot of substrate does. Amazon has the absolute best prices on these compared to any local store. The only cons is that it is hard to un-bend them, they tend to have a bump from being rolled up. My torts are in large rabbit enclosures here, we are not allowed to let them outside in our housing (so stupid, we would always let them run in our yards in Germany & Washington, they love it). The large sizes of these are able to cover most of their enclosure.
