Both sides popped in 40 days, it was great while it lasted but probably not worth it

We bought two, for two separate cages. Worked great for a while (about a year) but both now have one switch that will not work, so I have to go buy two more!

Now zoo med is my usual go to for all my reptile supplies, I just spent $45 on this 2 10 days ago. And the heat lamp part is now starting to flicker seems to be shorting out.

I bought this product for my baby red ear slider. The product came carefully packed, with an extra layer of bubble wrap over the box. The fixture description is accurate, looks nice, and it is just sitting on top of the fish tank rack. I was very excited to receive the product and eagerly waiting to finally set up the tank for the turtle. Sadly, the UVB lamp doesnt work. Ive tried on both sides of the fixture and in other fixtures in the house, the problem is definitely the lamp. Im returning only the lamp for a replacement, since the basking lamp and the fixture work fine. Ill upgrade my review after the new lamp arrives.

I have now bought two of these, one for my bearded dragon and one for my husbands baby turtle. Both animals are doing very well and the light works great. The bulbs didnt last super long, but we got the first one last winter and it was doing a lot of warming. This one we just got so well see how long the bulbs last. Overall would highly recommend.

A lot of money for an item that has had to be replaced 3 times within a year. Im going to go with another brand that has a little better quality.
