Perfect for our turtles! They love coming up and basking in the light. Since we purchased it, they are up on their dock much more than before. Its so cute how they push out their neck & do turtle yoga under the light.

This light is working well, and I like that it includes the correct lightbulb so theres no messing around trying to get the turtle warm while you have the wrong light. Only reason for knocking off a star is that theres no way to hook it onto the tank. It may be my fault for not reading very well, but we had to get creative with some duct tape in order to make it stay.

Weve had a UVB bulb in our turtles basking area for a while now, but they just werent basking very much. After a little more research we found that turtles really need two types of light - one for the UVA/UVB, and one for heat. Within 5 minutes of setting this light up, both of the turtles were jockeying for position underneath it. Fingers crossed that the bulb lasts!

My aquatic turtles love this light. We have had for several months now and its still working great, even with water splattering it.

Has been a great light and looks good. Would have been nice if the stand was included but for the price you can’t beat it.
