It has helped us tremendously. Especially with our erratic schedule. We take our red-ear slider turtles out at least an hour a day. But they tend to hide in the grass afterawhile.

A little pricy, but works well.

Weve had a UVB bulb in our turtles basking area for a while now, but they just werent basking very much. After a little more research we found that turtles really need two types of light - one for the UVA/UVB, and one for heat. Within 5 minutes of setting this light up, both of the turtles were jockeying for position underneath it. Fingers crossed that the bulb lasts!

My aquatic turtle has never been happier! Easy to install and looks good; which was important since Cecil resides in our living room!

My RES basks more now because the lighting is directly on her rock instead of all over the room. It keeps the water nice and cool and her rock nice and warm.
