I love how it has a latch to access inside without taking the whole screen off. I have a corn snake whos an escape artist and I needed a better screen cover. So far so good!!!

Its still holding up, but my relatively small cat has bent this cover just from sitting on it. Considering this product is supposedly specifically for keeping pets out, its a little lacking.

Made well and the door makes feedings so much easier.

As a licensed wildlife rehabilitator I end up with a lot of baby rats. Since they chew out of cardboard and plastic, a glass aquarium is the only safe home for them. This top allows me to keep the top on, just open the small door and be able to check on them, change food and water and not let them loose! It is well worth the money to protect both them and us!

Lid is exactly what it is advertised to be. Fits easily though were using it for a small mouse. A large reptile or anything with some weight could easily dislodge this and it requires separately purchased clamps.

Fits the 20 gallon long aquarium great just as I needed to keep my gerbils In the tank

My tank is a Zoo Med from the pet store with a slide on lid. The cover was too small to fit over the existing frame. And the measurements are a bit short from what was advertised. So I decided to remove the top frame with a spackling knife and elbow grease. The frame was plastic covered foam, so was not too difficult to remove, but did take some time, chipping away. Once it was removed, i cleaned the tank and gave myself a nasty cut on the glass, so my advice is to tape the edges first. After it was clean, i taped the sharp edges with electrical tape then set the new top on. It was just a bit too wide in the back, but sat flush. Now with no frame to put locking clips on, I taped it down with more electrical tape on the sides and front. The snake will be very secure, because i couldnt lift it with gentle tugging. And if i need to remove the whole top for any reason i can easily re-tape it. It actually looks great and am quite relieved that i didnt have to return the top. There really is none with the right dimentions anyway. As for Quality, it did seem a little bit wobbly before i put it on, but not too bad once it was on. My overweight cat is the next test. He is the reason Im in this mess to begin with.

Bend and part of the mesh was cut when I got it... lock works but has to be just in the right spot for it to work. I like that it does open and fits tank perfectly.

Works amazingly well and allows me to reach in and get to my crested gecko.
